Join the private clay workshop and enjoy creating ceramic hand-building projects together.
During the workshop, you’ll learn hand-building techniques such as pinch, coil, and slab building. I’ll guide you through each step and demonstrate how to roll, cut, attach, pinch, coil, form, and slab build with Clay.
Using these techniques, you’ll create your unique object and add your personal touch by decorating it with underglaze colors.
Once your project is complete, you will leave it in our studio to dry. I’ll glaze it with a clear glaze and fire it twice in the kiln.
Your finished masterpiece will be ready for pick up after two weeks.
It’s an excellent way for both of you to enjoy time together, express your creativity, and get all the attention you need!

Plate, vase, planter, cup, sculpture, and other ideas you have.
What’s included in the price?
Private guiding and teaching, Clay, using Studio tools, transparent glaze, underglaze colors, two firings to finish your object, tea, and wine.

-Feel free to wear clothes you don’t mind getting a bit dirty.

Meet your instructor
Hi, I am Kesem, a ceramic designer and a Creative Coach.
I’ve been working with Clay for the last 20 years. I run my Amsterdam Clay studio, making small-batch ceramics collections and working B2B with European shops.
I have been teaching for 20 years. I gave different clay workshops and hosted many groups for their team-building events and party workshops at my studio in Amsterdam. So, I bring my rich experience with Clay and creativity to every workshop.
I am looking forward to seeing you in my studio.

Cost
The price for the 2-hour workshop is 265 euros in total for two people, including all materials and wine.
Cancellation Policy
Cancellation and a full refund can be obtained if you notify me eight days before class begins.
No refund or transfer if you give no notice (‘no show’).

My studio is in the center of Amsterdam,
200 meters from Nieuwmarkt,
100 meters from Nieuwmarkt Metro station and a 10 min walk from the Central station.
Nieuwmarkt Metro station- lines 51, 53, and 54 have a stop at this station.
(Exit Nieuwmarkt and Koningsstraat).
