Open Studio: Work on Your Project

In this Open Studio session, participants can freely work on their projects.

This session does not offer formal instruction or demonstration. However, I’ll be there to provide advice or assistance.

You can come anytime within the three-hour timeframe.

This session is for those with prior clay experience (especially hand-building techniques) 

or those who have attended my clay workshop and want to develop their ideas.

You will get the following:

-A place to work

-Ceramics tools to use

-Clay (that is enough for three standard-size pieces)

-Underglaze colors to paint your piece

-You can make up to 3 (standard-size) pieces

-When the project is finished, you will leave it in my studio so it can get dry. Then, I will fire it twice in my kiln and glaze it in clear glaze.

It will be ready for pick up after two or three weeks.

• For those new to Clay, I recommend first joining my Hand-building workshop.

• The workshop is in English.

• I strongly encourage you to register, as the class size is limited to 6 people per class.

• I offer a relaxed and supportive environment.

The Clay, the use of the Studio tools, transparent glaze, underglaze colors, and two firing to finish your object.

Cost

The price for the 3-hour session is 55 euros, including all materials and fire.

Hey there, I’m Kesem! 

As a ceramic designer and a Life and Creative Coach, I’ve worked with various clay techniques for the past 20 years, developing a deep understanding of this beautiful medium. Running my clay studio here in Amsterdam, I’ve had the pleasure of teaching countless workshops and hosting fun events for groups. From team-building sessions to party workshops, I’ve done it all! 

I can’t wait to welcome you to my studio and share my passion for Clay and creativity.

Cancellation Policy

Cancellation and a full refund can be obtained if you notify us eight days before class begins.

The fee is transferable to another workshop if you inform us eight days before class begins.

No refund or transfer if you give no notice (‘no show’).

My studio is in the center of Amsterdam,

200 meters from Nieuwmarkt,

100 meters from Nieuwmarkt Metro station and a 10 min walk from the Central station.

Nieuwmarkt Metro station- lines 51, 53, and 54 have a stop at this station.

(Exit Nieuwmarkt and Koningsstraat).
