The Broken rings – Aesthetics of Fragmentation

Ceramic rings made from recycled pieces of ceramic, the rings are entirely handmade; some covered with prints, some only with glaze and gold luster.
I became fascinated with these broken fractured shapes, it reveals something about the material, and exposing the inside content. In this process working with fragments, I found their beauty, their simplicity of the shape, and the aesthetics of the broken, damaged and imperfect imbedded in them.
