Intro to Clay, Holiday edition

About the workshop:
Get into the holiday spirit and join my Clay workshop.
In this clay class, you’ll get the opportunity to make a customize handmade piece to gift to friends and family.
It can be an object or a couple of your designed ceramic holiday decorations.
These will be glazed and fired and available for you to pick up in time for the holiday.
This workshop is ideal for beginners and more experienced crafters.
This is an excellent opportunity to enjoy the festive and fabulous crafting workshop.
You will learn about hand-building techniques (forming, slabbing, pinching).
Each one will create their object and decorate it with colors.
When the project is finished, you will leave it in my studio so it can get dry. Then, your project will be dipped in clear glaze, fired in my kiln, and will be ready for pickup after two weeks.
-The workshop is in English.
-No need to bring special clothes.
-For all levels.
-Please be on time or a bit before
-I strongly encourage you to register as the class size is limited to 10 people per class.
-No experience is necessary – the workshop is intended for beginners but is also suitable for the more experienced.
-I offer a relaxed and supportive environment.

Directions:
My studio is located in the center of Amsterdam – 200 meters from the Nieuwmarkt, 100 meters from Nieuwmarkt Metro station, or a 5-min walk from the Central station.
Nieuwmarkt Metro station- lines 51, 53, and 54 have a stop at this station (exit Nieuwmarkt and Koningsstraat).
From Central Station Amsterdam – one stop with the Metro and a 200-meter walk.
If you are coming by tram, the closest stop is Waterlooplein. The 9 and 14 stops there, an 8-min walk from there.
If you are coming by bus, the closest stop is Prins Hendrikkade. Buses 22, 34, 35, 48, 391, 392 stop there.
