COVID-19 Updates at Kesemy design studio,
Staying safe and staying in business
I hope you are all healthy and well, the outbreak is challenging for all of us and we appreciate the patience and support of everyone.
The studio will start opening gradually, the online store is open, and we remain committed to delivering our products to you in a safe and responsible way.
Here at Kesemy design health and safety is our top priority. We are following the recommendations of the local and international health authorities.
– I am keeping the studio clean, disinfecting what I can.
– Hand sanitizer is provided for everyone who comes into the studio
– Please wash your hands when you come into the studio and clean your work area thoroughly when you leave
– please keep your distance inside the studio
– If you have traveled outside of the country or have been at any large gatherings, please refrain from coming into the studio for 2 weeks
– We’re strongly encouraging everyone to stay home if they’re not feeling well
– I will schedule another works pick-up day as soon
Regarding workshops:
I am still trying to figure out a way to give workshops safely. I will probably start with smaller groups and see how that works, changes to group size will follow the developments.
Everyone who had a workshop canceled will be contacted regarding new dates.
Remember that many working ceramics, artists and designers operates as independent small business, that means they don’t get paid sick leave, meaning they directly impacted by COVID-19 that led to the loss of income. Please reach out and support our favorite local businesses and makers, as long as you are buying from someone in your community, you’re helping out.
