About Kesem
Kesemy design is the ceramic studio of Kesem Yahav, an Israeli designer that living and working in Amsterdam. Her ceramic studio has been launched in Amsterdam in 2009 and since then she creates a unique ceramic pieces.
She studied Ceramic design and Industrial design in Bezalel Academy for Art and Design in Jerusalem Israel.
Nature has always been a strong inspiration in her work and has a strong presence in her designs. She appreciate the quiet, simplicity and innocence nature has to offer.
In her studio she creates a small series in clay using different techniques; wheel throwing, molds and hand building techniques, She works with a great sense for aesthetics and shapes and each item is a unique handcrafted piece of art. Every piece is special and when seen them in person, you can appreciate the detailing and attention in each piece.
